The natural look of my floral designs must stem from the 25 years I spent as a fresh flower florist. Having worked with a multitude of different flower types and the fact that I am an avid gardener, has given me a unique understanding of flowers and their natual habits. Consider for a moment how a tulip droops its head in the garden or the different stages of an amaryllis as it gracefully ages.
As former owner of Marianne Brown Floral Design in Kirkwood and a graduate of Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York I understand the importance of appropriate scale, color and texture of permanent botanicals in residential and commercial design. I have also had the privilege of working with many top designers in Naples, Florida and St.Louis, Missouri. My work has been featured in national magazines and is currently in fine homes, country clubs and offices. Participant and speaker at the St. Louis Symphony Showcase House and Realtors Showcase House.
